Zogelsdorfer Kalksandstein, H= 240 cm, 1350 kg. Nach 24 Jahren, seit der letzten Restaurierung, wurde aus Sicherheitsgründen entschieden, eine Kopie des Löwen aus gerütteltem Guss aus glasfaserverstärktem Kunststein herzustellen.In 1992 the lion fell and smashed next to a japanese tourist group. Back then the restoration was commissioned to us and all fragments were sticked together, mortised and all voids were complemented.
