Qoşa Qala / Double city gate north, Baku, Azerbaijan

Historic Old Town "Icheri Sheher", 13th – 14th century (Silk Route), weir system with two flanking, crenellated semicircular towers and battlements, two entry gates with overlying cast openings "Maschikulis", approx. 1000 m² surface of stone blocks

Conservation and static renovation in situ, stabilisation of the battlements and archways's merlons made with historical building technology, crafted reconstructions, contemporary sealings of the mural crowns with lead and polymeric material
