Buxara Karavansaray, Baku, Azerbaijan
The Caravansaray was built at the end of the 15th century on the trade route of the Old City. Only shell limestone quarried on the Absheron Peninsula was used as building material.general renovation and general conservation
The Karavansaray opened on the 17th of March 2026 as the ‘BUKHARART’ arts and crafts center in the ‘Icherisheher’ old town of Baku.
